Kaie Klaassen is owner of filmproduction company Moving Image Production in The Netherlands.

Kaie Klaassen (Axel, the Netherlands, 1953) combined his interest in photography, electronics and social issues by joining, while studying Film Sociology and Mass Communications at the University of Utrecht, film collective De Rode Lantaren, founded by students.Soon he became the producer of the group, and in 1987 he started his own production outfit Moving Image Production, which exists to date.In addition, Kaie Klaassen worked as a moderator, advisor, project leader or interim manager for various film & television organisations in The Netherlands and abroad.Kaie Klaassen lives with Marion Lenders and is the father of foster son Arne ((1984) and daughter Juul (1994).Kaie loves to travel. Film production took him all over the world, from Burkino Fasso to Mexico,  Cambodia to South Africa. Kaie is especially fascinated by deserts, with Marion he crossed the Namibian deserts for months in a 4-wheel truck.Kaie Klaassen is an ardent motorbike rider.
